Architectural rendering

I got my hands on wireframe autocad file of a house from my friend who works as construction surveyor. After adding materials, lightning and bit of other stuff the wireframe model started looking a bit more like real thing..

This video has some artifacts in it, after rendering it I was able to find out the extra geometry causing the shadow popups but I haven't done a new rendering of the scene yet as it takes ages to render this kind of stuff on my old laptop..

Candyland

While studying at NoMA, we had the opportunity to try shooting video on a special 3D-studio, which allowed real-time compositing of live actors and 3D environment.

Interesting project to work with, but nobody was able to tell me what things were possible with their gear until the monment we arrived at the studio. Turned out that none of the textures used worked with the rig, and same was the case with particle system-based candies. Had I known that beforehands, I'd done them as static mesh objects but since we only had one hour of studio time there was no chance of fixing it any more

Anyway, this video is a test render of the scene I built for the project

Glass City

Here's a really old one, must be back from 2002 or 2003. It doesn't have much (any) point apart from the material that changes it's opacity based on how light hits it and distance from camera.
